N E W S New addition to our site, the Chicago Chinatown Blog http://chicagochinatown.blogspot.com/ Third Friday at the ZHOU B Art Center 1029 W. 35th St. July 20, 2008, Sunday July 26, 2008, Saturday Explore music, food and crafts as well as performances from cultural centers all across Chicago. Each year, approximately 10,000 visitors attend this enjoyable day-long event. Take part in this fun-filled day by signing up as an Event Sponsor, Vendor/Exhibitor, or create your own Dragon Boat Racing Team. Team registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. This will be the 8th year of the Chicago Dragon Boat Race for Literacy presented by the Chicago Chinatown Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Chicago and the Chicago Park District. This year’s event is sponsored by American Family Insurance. Proceeds of this year’s race will go to the Chicago Public School system, Office of Culture and Diversity in the Chicago Board of Education to help promote culture and diversity in our fine schools.
